Tony Kanaan has had better days behind the wheel of his Pioneer, World Com, Mo Nunn-sponsored Reynard Honda. Electrical gremlins took him out early in the race. Michael Andretti went on to take the checkered flag at Long Beach.
The racing was hot, and the after-hour parties were even hotter.
Of course, we're talking about the 26th annual Toyota Grand Prix at Long Beach and the celebrations that followed.
Our online advertising man Troy Hanson can certainly vouch for the fun factor at the event. Troy spent the entire weekend in the company of Hollywood's hottest young celebs, and enjoyed party after party - all in the name of a good news story he tells us.
We're all totally envious of Troy's adventures at Long Beach, but our photographers still got full access to it all and some surprisingly candid shots of the people who make up this awesome weekend.
If you didn't make it out to Long Beach, we've got you covered with these behind-the-scenes photos from the Goo Goo Dolls concert at the Pioneer Stage in front of the Terrace Theater, and a whole bunch of pics from inside pit row and more from the vendor's midway. Enjoy.

Surprisingly, Goldberg didn't body slam her for making him look wimpy. | Danica Patrick is not only cute, she can also drive circles around most racers. "I don't think winning had anything to do with being a women, said Danica.
