Accord owners are a whiney bunch. "No one makes parts for my car," they whimper.
Well, they're wrong. We did a little digging and found this statement to be untrue. Here are 69 performance products designed specifically for the Honda Accord. Note that these are not cosmetic pieces. The products featured in this guide are designed to actually increase engine output or improve vehicle dynamics.
As you peruse the guide, you'll find simple bolt-on treatments are more common than internal performance parts, such as valvetrain components or block internals. A few companies do in fact offer these parts, as we've shown, and many who don't offer pre-fabricated off-the-shelf parts are willing to fabricate components from scratch or from a core unit a customer provides.
For example, this guide runs admittedly lean when it comes to camshafts-we've listed only one company that offers pre-made hot cams for the Accord. That said, most cam manufacturers we talked to will custom grind a new cam profile for you, as long as you're willing to provide detailed specifications concerning the unit you'd like to have made-and pay for the work when it's done, naturally.
