* Jackson Racing is moving into the MINI market. It has developed a header that works with both the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper S and is sold through Moss Motors.
* With "2 Fast 2 Furious" pulling in more than $127 million this past summer, we hear that Universal Studios is fast tracking yet another sequel. No word on cast or director yet, but we understand the plot involves a search to find Vin Diesel's floundering career.
* A supercharger is likely to sprout atop the Chrysler Crossfire's V6 next year. The supercharged 3.2-liter V6 is already used in the Mercedes C32 AMG, but it's unlikely the Crossfire will be branded with the AMG name.
* According to a study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 11 million Americans have driven while under the influence of illicit drugs.
* Infiniti is rumored to be planning to offer all-wheel drive on its G35 sedan during 2004. Remember, this car is the Skyline... however, no turbos are planned as of yet for the G machine. Yet.
* Under a new law that allows the confiscation of cars used in street races, the Los Angeles Police Department has confiscated two Chevrolet IROC Camaros, a 1989 version and a 1990. Police Chief William Bratton suggested at a press conference that the cars might be crushed before the eyes of their former owners.
